The Kazakh people who live in Bayan-Ulgii, the westernmost province of Mongolia, are famous for hunting with golden eagles. Hunting is usually done only during the cold winter months when the mountains are snow-white.However, there are only a few falconer cultures left in real life in the world. The Kazakh people who live in the Altai Mountains are the successors of that culture. Among them, Bayan-Ulgii Province, Mongolia, is where by far the most talented falconers are active. We have endured the suppression of traditional culture by socialism and the economic difficulties caused by the market economy, and continue to protect the golden eagle falconer culture, which is the pride of the people. Veteran falconers of Sagsai sum dressed in traditional falconer costumes. Always appear at important events. Sagsai sum is about 30km from Ulgii, the prefectural capital. With comfortable accommodation, it is the easiest village to experience Kazakh culture.

An attempt to live together while protecting rare animals

The golden eagle is one of the most valuable birds of prey in the world listed as an endangered and rare animal under the Washington Convention. Golden eagles raised by falconers are nationally licensed and registered. The number of wild animals such as rabbits that feed on them has decreased dramatically, making it difficult to raise golden eagles. Therefore, in 2002, falconers united to establish the "Mongolian Golden Eagle Association" for the purpose of ecological research and conservation activities for golden eagles and protection and promotion of traditional folk culture. Every year, we work with ornithologists from the Mongolian National Academy of Sciences to measure golden eagles, hunt and survey their habitat. Individual measurement of a golden eagle is being carried out with a falconer. After the measurement, put on the numbered ankle and give the registration certificate. The golden eagle has a lifespan of about 20 years. It is captured around 1 year old and returns to nature when it is about 9 years old, which has fertility and can live independently.

Day 2	Ulaanbaatar Ulgii	By air from Ulaanbaatar to Ulgii, the capital of Bayan-Ulgii Province in western Mongolia. After arriving, visit the Kazakh Folk Museum. Free time after listening to traditional Kazakh music. Accommodation: Ger camp Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 ~ Day 4	Ulgii Sagsai sum	After breakfast, drive to Kazakh nomadic Ger. Life experience of an eagle master who rides a traditional horse and hunts with a golden eagle. Receive a lesson to hunt. You will be trained to put an eagle on your arm and receive explanations on horseback riding necessary for hunting. Once you are able to ride an eagle on your arm to some extent, go on a hunting experience with the eagle master. * If you cannot hunt eagles due to local weather conditions or local circumstances, you will experience the normal life of the Kazakh people. Day 6	Ulgii Ulaanbaatar	From Ulgii to Ulaanbaatar by air. After arriving, go sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar. Go shopping at the Tibetan Buddhist temple Gandantegchinlen Temple, Zaisan Hill overlooking the city, Genghis Khan Square in the center of the city, and food Zaha (market) where you can get a glimpse of the lives of the citizens. Method of payment	After making a reservation by email and phone, we will send a travel confirmation and invoice to your email . After confirming the invoice, you will transfer 50% of the travel fee to our Mongolian bank account. After confirming payment, it will be an official reservation. The 50% balance will be transferred to our bank account before the start of your trip.
