South Gobi, Khongor Sand Dunes, Bayanzag Terelj tour

When you think of the Gobi Desert, people who don't know it tend to think of a desert like the Sahara Desert, which has no grass, but there are various types of actual Mongolian Gobi. "South Gobi" is a Mongolian word meaning a land with sparse short grass, which is an image of a desert with no desolate vegetation, but in reality it is only 25% of the land area. Camel grazing is most common here. In addition, many fossils of dinosaurs have been excavated in this area, which will arouse the romance of ancient times. The Moltsog dunes, about 50km north of the South Gobi airfield, offer a panoramic view of the Gobi Desert image that tourists envision.

Bayanzag Flaming cliffs
It is a place known all over the world for finding dinosaur eggs and fossils. For the first time, this area became known around the world by American Andres in the 1920s. Andres unearthed some dinosaur fossils and eggs from here, which are currently on display at the largest museum in the United States. It is also famous for the many rare things found in this area that prove that humans have lived there for millions of years. If you look carefully, you may find fossil fragments of dinosaurs.

Eagle Valley
There is a beautiful place called Yoliin am (Eagle valley)on Mt. Gurvan Saihan. Yolin Am means "Eagle valley" in Mongolian. Certainly, an eagle is flying over the valley, and you can understand this place's name. The altitude of the valley is as high as 2200m, and snow remains around here even in early summer. As expected, the valley is melted in midsummer but without snow, and it feels cool and comfortable. On a hot summer day, walking through the ice in the valley is interesting. There are also wild sheep and goats, wolves, gobi bears .

Khongor sand dunes

The Gobi Desert is in southern Mongolia. Most of the desert is covered with pebbles and shrubs, but if you drive close to 200km from the South Gobi, you will suddenly see a large sand dune. .. The height of this sand dune, which continues like a mountain and looks up forever, is about 50 meters or more. It is a rare terrain with sandy meadows, grass and short trees, and small rivers. We often see camels trekking with tourists on board. This course is to enjoy the moving scenery in this large sand dune, which is said to be no1 in Mongolia. Of course, the ger where you can see the large sand dunes of the accommodation. Staying in the wilderness, with no man-made objects as far as the eye can see, makes you forget about your daily life. You can feel the nature of Mongolia by taking a leisurely stroll through the dunes and gazing at the starry sky at night.

South Gobi

Khongor dunes

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to South Gobi.
After arriving, visit the Gobi Museum, which displays stuffed animals and fossils that live in the South Gobi region.
Then, go on a picnic to the Yoliin am (Eagle) Valley. After lunch, head to Tourist Ger. After that, we went to the beautiful Khongor dunes, which are affected by the moon and move by the wind.

Bayanzag

After breakfast, enjoy the experience of riding a camel. Khongor sand dunes sightseeing. Enjoy the inspiring scenery in this large sand dune, which is said to be no1 in Mongolia. In the afternoon, we move to Bayanzag, a place known all over the world for finding dinosaur eggs and fossils in a private car. After visiting Bayanzag, move to a tourist camp.

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Ulaanbaatar.
After arriving, drive to Terelj National Park. After visiting Turtle Rock on the way, we will walk to Ariabal Temple. After enjoying the nature around Terelj NP, visit the nomadic ger and enjoy interacting with the locals. Lunch at the nomadic ger. Enjoy hiking and horseback riding in the afternoon. Leaving Terelj NP and move to the nomadic Ger. 1 night homestay experience. Enjoy observing the stars at night.

Day 5

After breakfast, visit the Genghis Khan statue. Visit the museum and video in the statue of Genghis Khan.

Ulaanbaatar city tour.
Go shopping at the Buddhist temple Gandantegchinlen Temple, Zaisan Hill overlooking the city, Genghis Khan Square in the center of the city, and Black market where you can get a glimpse of life in the city. In the evening, we will guide you to the Mongolian folk dance concert.

When applying for a tour, please make a reservation at least 15 days before departure (excluding holidays). If you apply for a tour after that, we will reply to the customer once before making arrangements, and we will start making arrangements after confirming that we can contact you reliably. Method of payment

After making a reservation by email and phone, we will send a travel confirmation and invoice to your email . After confirming the invoice, you will transfer 50% of the travel fee to our Mongolian bank account. After confirming payment, it will be an official reservation. The 50% balance will be transferred to our bank account before the start of your trip.

 Transportation All clients will be met at the airport on arrival and taken to the airport for departure. We provide vehicles and a driver according to the size of group ( tour bus,sedan, van or jeep).
Guide All group tour arrangements ( groups of two or more) include the exclusive service of English (or Russian, Japanese, Spanish and German) speaking guide. Guides for other languages are available upon request.
