Terelj National Park & Terelj Tour. On the way from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park (70 km) by private car (about 1 hour), you can see interesting shapes of rocks and stones, and among them please see Turtle Rock. It is a popular tourist spot with rocky mountains of rare shapes said to be miracles of nature, the 15 m-high Turtle Rock and more. It was developed as a national park in the 1960s and protected as a national park around 1994. Not only local Mongolians but tourists from various countries around the world come to enjoy this scenery. In beautiful nature you can enjoy horse riding trekking and hiking, mountain walking, interact with nomads living on the grand steppe while tending livestock, taste handmade dairy products, and even climb Turtle Rock. It lies at an altitude of 1,600 m above sea level. Within the park live 250 species of birds and protected animals such as elk and bears. Some ger camps are equipped with parking and electricity, and it has also been developed as a tourist destination.

If a booking is made after that, we will first reply to you by email to confirm that we can reach each other reliably before we start the arrangements. After you reserve by email and phone, we will send a travel confirmation and an invoice to your email address. After checking the invoice, transfer 50% of the tour price to our bank account. The booking becomes official after we confirm receipt. The remaining 50% is paid by bank transfer before the trip starts. |
